STUDENT OF THE YEAR

Secondary teachers are urged to nominate a student of their choice. All nominees will be recognized at the GJCL State Convention.

THE STUDENT MUST:

• a. be in Latin III or beyond
• b. have received awards on the regional, state, or national level
• c. exhibit exemplary commitment to the study of Latin outside of the classroom.
  
  

THE TEACHER MUST:

• a. submit a letter of recommendation stating specific reasons why the student should receive the award. The letter should include the full name of the student, teacher's name, school name, school address, school phone number, and teacher's home phone number;
• b. submit supporting documentation
• c. submit a copy of the student's transcript.
