The Georgia Classical Association's Placement Service lists K-12 Latin teaching positions in Georgia, as well as the adjacent states of Alabama, Florida, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee.
SCHOOL ADMINISTRATORS: Please notify the GCA Placement Service as soon as possible of any anticipated openings, providing the following details: name and address of school, starting date of the position, name/phone/fax/email for contact person, website, and brief (one-two sentence) position description. Send that information directly via e-mail to: japullia@uga.edu. Your notice will be posted on our website, and interested candidates registered with this office will send their resumes to you; your notice will also be sent to the American Classical League's Placement Service, which will post the listing nationally.
CANDIDATES: Teaching positions in GA, AL, FL, NC, SC, or TN, will be posted to this website as we learn of them, and you may then contact the schools directly, usually via a letter and resume. If you do not have Internet access and wish to receive the job list by mail, please supply us with the following information: name, address, phone, FAX, e-mail.
Candidates should also send a letter and resume directly to individual schools or systems even in advance of any position listings, especially in larger systems (including, in Georgia, Cobb, DeKalb, Fulton, and Gwinnett Counties, and the City of Atlanta).
