SUMMER INSTITUTE APPLICATION PACKET

Send to Graduate Admissions by April 1st:

  • Application form with $50.00 application-processing fee
  • Two official transcripts from each college and/or university attended
  • Official report of GRE scores

Send to the Department of Classics by April 1st:

Important Note : In order to use the following files, you must have the Free Adobe® Acrobat® Reader® 5.0 or higher . Older versions are unable to correctly display these files . The software is available for free and can be downloaded from Adobe's Website .

To save the files to your computer, right-click on the links below and select "Save Target As" from the menu that pops up.You may then fill in the forms, save the modified file, and send it as an email attachment to gradinq@uga.edu . Once you have opened a form, use your browser's "Back" button to return to this page.

If you are unable to submit the forms online, you may print the forms from this site, fill them out, and mail them to:

Former Institute students who did not attend last year's Institute will need to complete a brief form for re-admission to the Graduate School.

In addition to applying for the Richard A. LaFleur Teacher Scholarship, Latin teachers who participate in the Institute are also strongly encouraged to apply for scholarships from the American Classical League (ACL), the Classical Association of the Middle West and South (CAMWS), and the Horace Mann Companies.

Deadlines which fall on Saturday, Sunday, or holidays will default to the next working day.
